The Lunch Lady has served as a consultant for KU Medical Center on a grant through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation on Childhood Obesity. She has been a consultant for Head Start and the National Food Service Management Institute, Windrunner Advertising and Pinnacle Foods, i-Marlin Marketing Solutions, American Italian Pasta Company, Food Service Specialists, North Kansas City Schools, KC Healthy Kids and Show-Me Foods and Nutrition with presentations for Biomune, Shawnee Mission Schools, Johnson County, Water One, Waddell and Reed, University of Kansas Medical Center, City of Lenexa, Lathrop & Gage Attorney, and Haake Insurance. July, 2007-present.

Member of Laureate Alpha Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi; past president of chapter.
