Work Experience:

The Lunch Lady
has served as a consultant for KU Medical Center on a grant through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation on Childhood Obesity.  She has been a consultant for Head Start and the National Food Service Management Institute, Windrunner Advertising and Pinnacle Foods, i-Marlin Marketing Solutions, American Italian Pasta Company, Food Service Specialists, North Kansas City Schools, KC Healthy Kids and Show-Me Foods and Nutrition with presentations for Biomune, Shawnee Mission Schools, Johnson County, Water One, Waddell and Reed, University of Kansas Medical Center, City of Lenexa, Lathrop  & Gage Attorney, and Haake Insurance.  July, 2007-present.

Served on various committees of School Nutrition Association (formed American School Food Service Association) including member services, resolutions and by-laws
Served two consecutive terms as President of Missouri School Food Service Association, 1987-1989.
President-Elect of Missouri School Food Service Association, 1986-1987.

Community Activities:


Currently serving second 3 year term on Board of Directors of Harvesters, The Community Food Network for 26 county area in Kansas and Missouri.
Active Harvesters volunteer, including serving as Harvesters Ambassador; have participated in many volunteer activities and food drives, 1999-present.
Member of Laureate Alpha Epsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi; past president of chapter.

Active member of church and other community activities.  Previously active in school and booster clubs in community.
